What Are Social Sciences?? Help!?

I know this might sound stupid. But what are considered social sciences? I was looking at a college for undergrad studies and they said they expect four years of Social Sciences.

I'm in HIGH SCHOOL by the way.

It means sciences classes in general. Be sure you sign up for at LEAST two lab science classes though (classes that consists of doing labs),
