...university of Pennsylvania? I live in California so I don't know much about the admissions process there in Pennsylvania. I am currently in my second semester in junior year at my high school. I have a UC gpa (10th-11th grade) of 4.15, however my cumulative is only a 3.9 due to a poor freshman year. I play varsity soccer and varsity track and have been for the last 2 years and I am involved in clubs such as FBLA and NHS. I also just recently won the boy's state award for my school, which only one person was selected. I haven't taken the SAT yet but I am in the revolution prep class, and my first practice sat was an 1810. They guarantee a 200 point raise from that so we'll see. So what do you think realistically my chances are?

hmm pretty high u'll have to remember u need to standout do something different from the rest. chances are U will be IN THE CROWD not STANDING OUT....

Wharton's undergraduate program only accepts 50 students/year, so it is incredibly competitive. This is not a reflection on you, but you need to be world class in order to get in. You are obviously a good student, but are you among the few best in the world? I'm afraid it would be an extremely long shot for you to be admitted.
