What are my chances of getting into the University of Michigan?

Okay..I'm going to be a senior in the fall from North Dakota. I got a 29 on my ACT and my GPA is a 3.96. I've only recieved a B in one class ever. Junior year I took Physics, Dual-Credit Functions and Trig and a two hour english-history class called American Pageant..next year I'm signed up for Dual-Credit English, Chemistry at the college, Calc at the college, Dual-Credit Probablilty and Statistics and AP Gov. By the end of my senior year I will have 4 years of Band, 3 years of Spanish and 1 year of German. My mother, on the other hand, is convinced that I will never make it into Michigan solely on the fact that I've never recieved an e-mail from them...does that really matter? or should I set my sights on someplace else?
 
You have a fairly good chance to get into. I wouldn't worry about getting a email from them b/c they usually take a while to respond.
