I've just applied at a private college and the only way I'll be able to go is if I take out loans or get scholarships. The college has 3 "top" scholarships which each new student is eligible for based on GPA and SAT scores. For the first scholarship, the requirement is to have a GPA and SAT that's higher than the average, for the second the requirement is a GPA and SAT slightly above the average, and the third is for those who meet the average. I know I'll be able to get the last but what are my chances for the first and second with these stats:
GPA: 3.7
Reading SAT: 610
Writing SAT: 580
Math: 470
The average stated on the college website is:
GPA: 3.1
SAT Reading: 553
SAT Writing: 537
SAT Math: 510
I was also part of a college program my last 2 years of high school that allowed me to finish 24 college credits while still attending high school full-time. My college GPA is 3.2.
GPA: 3.7
Reading SAT: 610
Writing SAT: 580
Math: 470
