most states require that each child living in the home have his or her own bed. if there are children of both genders in the home, then there should be enough divided room "single rooms" to allow each boy a private room, each girl a private room, and the guardian to have a private room. if moving is not an option, see if you can subdivide the apartment. if you do not own the apartment, and you can't move, then you probably don't have anything you can do as far as getting custody. good luck with this.
