What are lower bearing on a 1988 Dodge Daytona?

We are looking for a car,Its a 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby-Z the man that has the car says that it needs lower bearing but, he has no idea if its rear or front..Says that the car started to make a lower bearing noise so he parked it..
