...state school? I go top 15 engineering school, and am currently majoring in engineering. The money of this degree sounds great, but the workload is insane and the jobs seem relatively uninteresting. I am really outdoorsy (hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking, etc.) so I was thinking about a forestry or wildlife management degree or possibly fishery science (all offered at my school).
What kind of jobs could I obtain with a degree in one of these fields (I know park ranger and some other state/federal jobs) and what kind of salary could I make? I don't have to be rich to be happy, far from it, but I don't want to go to school for 4 years and make minimum wage or close to it.
Does anyone out there have experience first hand with this field?
