What are good trainers to jog in outdoors?

I had some normal old trainers that i ran in down the canal, and once i jogged so far my shins started to tingle like shin splints. So after i ran on treadmills at the gym when i went instead but i want to buy some proper trainers to jog in outdoors. Can anybody tell me a good decent price trainers to buy? No more than £50, £60
