What are good subwoofers and amp?

OK i am looking real hard into finding 2 new 12" subwoofers and a new amp. I like my music loud and the bass to hit hard with no distortion and can be heard from a block away haha well thats and example how i want my system to sound but i dont know what would make a good combo any ideas??
 
As long as the watts rms match...then thats a good combo...lets say that you buy 2 speakers 400 watts rms each...then you need an amp than sends 800 watts rms or less...oh and a good tip...check the efficiency of the speakers...the higher the louder they'll get...and well theres a bunch of brands out there...personally I prefer Rockford Fosgate's Products....but theres also MTX...Alpine....JL...
