please i really need canadain affairs that have 2 sides that are good to debate with i realy need this please can someone list me debatable topics to use?

The PM's government has been recently been propped up by the Bloc - These issues are still impacting the current House of Commons and will definitely shape the next election --- even if it comes a few years from now or next week
 
There are a lot of things that you could debate on. Here are a few current affairs:

Canada may be going to the polls in the fall (again). Your debate topic...would it be smart for the government to call another election this fall?

Health care reform seems to be another hot topic...especially with the reform in America seeming to come back on us and our system. A debate topic..."should our health care system become more privitized or does it just need more funding?"

H1N1 is another hot topic, since it is being released without a lot of testing. "Should vulnurable groups receive the first vaccines, or should they first be tested on stronger groups?"

Of course, there is the economic situation. The government is talking about doing away with the home renovation tax credit. Should they or shouldn't they?

And there is the military debate. Should Canada pull troupes out of Afghanistan in 2011 (as originally planned) or continue sending troupes?
