what are good color combos for faux finish/color washing?

Amateur DIYer here. I would like to paint my dresser using a color washing with a silver or gray hue.

I'm really not good at picking out colors so does any have any good base/glaze combo ideas? (specific brand and official color would be optimal!!). OR do you know of a kit? OR a wesbite that offers already matched up color combination suggestions?
