what are cool, pretty, and colorful freshwater fishes for a 20 gallon tank?

I used to have 5 angel fishes about 7 years ago in the tank. They all died now.
Now we have this 20 gallon tank and I was wondering what are cool, pretty, and colorful fishes to get.
I would like to get different varieties of fishes, so what kind of fishes go well together?
 
you could put............

platys (mickey mouses are cool)
more angelfish
dwarf gouramis
zebra danios
guppies
balloon ram
boesemani rainbows
most of the tropical, community fishes are colorful
 
Glow fish are bright neon colored schooling fish that would do well in your 20 gallon. They come in all colors of the rainbow. You can put any tropical community fish with them.
 
this is a hard questin to answer because there are aolt of q's that need to be answered. like: favorite color? willing to upgrade? predatory pr community? wierd or average? big fish, little fish?

basically what im trying to say is "cool fish" is a phrase anyone can have personalized. like one of my favorites is the dojo loach, but one of my friends is a guppy. it totally depends on how you define "cool"
