in all kinds of books, romance, fantasy, mystery, thriller, horror, children's, what are the big cliches like the main character being an orphan or being the "chosen one"?
In romance it's the bad boy who falls for the good girl and they hate each other in the beginning and eventually fall in love after spending the whole book fighting. Pretty much happily ever after endings. Some are really good though but yeah, cliche.
