What are all the things you can get in trouble for legally in a chat room?

i know you can't threaten the president or try and meet up with a minor but what else is illegal? i troll in chat rooms and say horribly offensive things all in good fun. i'm not the only one in the chat room that does that so it's not like i'm unusual.
 
actually about 70% of users admit to indulging at trolling - its probably far higher. ( Pc world survey stats). You can get in trouble if you threaten someone physically - depending on what constitutes as harassment or threatening behaviour. What does the answer above mine mean, Im trying to work that one out. example q please?
