the weather a few days ago looked like tomorrow was going to be perfect for skiing. but when i just got home now after my work i saw the forcast changed and there was going to be winds when i planned to ski with my friends. they now predict wind speeds of 16-17mph winds and one site says possible gusts of up to 30 mph. I know it may not be the most ideal day but it may be the only day my friend who traveled here can ski with me. is it still reasonably doable and enjoyable? or should i cancel and thoughs speeds are just rediculous for skiing?
what are acceptable wind speeds for skiing? should i cancel?
