What angle should I take to write a story about how shamrocks are shaped?

I'm in my school's journalism class, and I was assigned a story about why shamrocks (clovers) are shaped the way they are. What angle should I take in writing this article because this is my first time writing for the newspaper. I'm not experienced in the style journalist use to write news articles. Thanks!
 
first find out about clover and shamrock, which have those heart-shaped leaves so that they can fold up easily when it rains. then find the most interesting or useless bit of information and use it as your lead.
 
With St Patty's Day coming up you could use his teachings as a source. He use te Shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity' 3 yet 1 ' Just a thought.
