what and when is it best to eat if i want to use the treadmill for exercise?

Nutritious food, if it doesn't look fresh or clean than it's probably going to slow you down and make you sluggish.

Example:

Bad = Big Mac from McDonald's

Good = Veggie Sub from Subway

Drink lots of water while you walk(don't fill your stomach up either cause that makes you sleepy and tired). Staying hydrated helps keep you energized too.
 
i plan on walking the treadmill about 45 minutes a day, but i don't want to feel fatigued or cramped halfway through the workout. what foods are the best to give me energy for the duration of the workout? and is it best to eat before or after?
