I just Got a dual 15" p3 enclosure the other day and im lookin to get an amp that'll really make these subs hit but for a reasonable price. I don't know much about amps yet so i need some help with this.

Im lookin at the rockford P1000 and also the rockford T1000. I can get either one for a good price, but i also have taken a liking to the Hifonics amps.
Does anyone have any suggestions or comments, and/or would the hifonics be a good choice??

Don't get Hifonics. I have never tested a Hifonics amp and gotten the power it advertised. Spend the money and get the Fosgate. It is going to put out much more power (advertised 1000w usually means actually produces 1200w when it comes to fosgate). The fosgate is also going to last a lot longer.

If its not a huge price jump, go with the power series (T1000), but if it's more than $100 jump, you'll be more than happy with the p1000. The only downside to the punch is that it has a funky "Punch EQ", which introduces a strange frequency peak for no real reason, but if you keep this setting down, you shouldn't notice, (unless ur looking to get a 60hz peak)

A name brand (adiobahn, alpine, PG, infinity, kenwood, sony, kicker, rockford).
Hifonics is not name brand so if you do get it it probablly wont last long. A two chanel amp would be the idea cause you have two subs so, a name brand two chanel amp. use the RMS watts rating to make sure that the amp will have the power to kick those subs. Let me know what you decide on.
