i got a chevy thaoe 2001
and i just bought 2 15 l7 kicker subwoofers and plan on putting them in a dual ported box
i also bought a high output altenator so they can run without draining by batterys power
EACH sub hits 1000 watts rms/2000 watts max power handiling together im running 2000 watts/rms
i was thinking of the Kicker zx amp it runs at 2 ohms with 2500 watts? so my question is does that mean for each ohm than means 1250 watts per sub right? so id be overpowering my subs but everyone tells me at customs sounds to that its best to overpower your subs slighty than underpower them and than when you do overpower them you could play at its peak but its not wise to unless your have enough power and processors, i only plan to play the subs at their rms?
so any sugestions on other amps
