If i am right the subs handle 450 rms a piece so a 300 watt amp may not give you the total advantage of these subs if you want the most out of your subs you want an amp that is 800 watts rms not peak power. that may be a little expensive so if you can get a true 500 watts rms it will thump these subs. of course if you are on a budget you can get a sony xplod 1200 watt amp for maybe70 bucks and regardless what anyone says they will push the subs just not too the limit.
Now you want the lowest ohms because the lower the ohm the better the frequency will be and the harder the hit. Now you can go on ebay right now and get a treo 800 watt amp 1 ohm for 70 bucks and treo is top of the line so i would hurry and put in a bid
