I am getting this http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2067C12VR4/Kicker-CompVR-07CVR124.html sub . And I have a couple of questions. 1. This sub is a 4 ohm sub, do I need a 4 ohm amp or can i use a 2 ohm amp ? 2. or if i get a 2 ohm verion of this one can i use a 2 ohm amp? 3. do i need an equilizer or crossover? 4. how can i tell if i need them or not?
I am putting this in my mazda 6 and I am only running 1 sub not 2. I am not looking for the rediculus shacking, just a little more kick then my stock system has. Please help me understand this a little better!
