Alright so here I go....

I am Canadian and want to attend an American university (mainly for the sports because in Canada sports is are not as big).

My problem is, I can't write the SAT, my sister who is a lot smarter then me said the things they learnt in America are very different what I've learnt in Canada.

So I was wondering if there are any schools in America that don't ask for SAT's, or atleast not to non-residents.

Thanks.

Most schools in the US require you to take the SATS, whether or not you are a resident. Even schools that are not very rigorous academically ask you you take the ACTs or the SATs. Also, you shoulhn't worry about the SATs because you dont really need any proir knowledge in subjects to take the test. Most of the stuff is things you learn from reading or by yourself. For example, the writing section is pure grammar and sentence structure. You dont really learn that in school. Critical reading is just passage analysis ( it's hard) but you dont learn that in a subject in school. The math is easy, but they try to trick you. I suggest that you take it anyway, since all colleges in the U.S except a select few ( and those few probably arent very good for sports either) require the SATs or the ACTs. The ACTs might be a better choice because the writing section is optional and it has a science section which is just interpreting tables. Hope that helps! Just buy an SAT book, and you'll do fine.
