I am volunteering in Japan over the summer for about a month and one of the things that it recommends I do is bring a little bit of culture from America to share with the local people there. I'm at a loss here because I feel as if American culture is more of a mixture of many different cultures. Also, there will be about 7 other volunteers with me, and we have to rotate when it comes to cooking. They suggest making a dish that is from your country.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I should bring or could share with the people there? For the first two weeks I will be in the countryside helping with organic farming. The last two weeks I'll be in Tokyo.
Any suggestions would be great!
