I got my cell phone on October 1st, 2008.
The moment I got it, it would randomly turn off if I slid it open sometimes. I thought I shouldn't be sliding it so much, but now it's turning off at random times without being touched. I will have it on a table, send a text, set it down, and return to see my phone off, and it isn't dead.
Also, it would randomly turn on. I set my phone on the counter, and I heard it turn on! I didn't even turn it off, so it actually turned on and off without my knowledge.
It also has wiped out my memory card twice. I would have my phone off, then I turned it on to take a photo, and it would freeze when I tried to access the camera. I would restart it, and all my photos would be gone.
And today, I turned my volume on and held my phone. I looked, and it was off, and when I turned it back on, it kept 'Searching for a Firmware Update' whenever I pressed a button. It also had a lock icon (It apparently means SSL, whatever that means), and it also had a 3G service icon (I don't have 3G), and a 'Bluetooth Enabled' icon, and I don't have bluetooth.
Now, it keeps sending my messages multiple times to other people, and it takes awhile (hours, or DAYS sometimes) for a message to get sent, or for me to get one.
Is there anything I can do?
