What "alternate endings" would you like to see?

People were burnt alive, electricuted, pushed out of windows etc. In the end Batman tries to convince Catwoman to come home with him, but she commits suicide and he leaves feeling like a failure. After this was seen in previews, Tim Burton added Catwoman to the ending, to show she lived.

For a franchise like that, with children as fans and people clearly remembering the 1960's version, people weren't expecting it to be that dark a film. Warner Brothers had merchandising deals; with McDonalRAB and toy manufacturers, and so when families went to see it (in America you could see any certificate providing you are accompanied by an adult) many complained about the content and ending.

I think it ruined the McDonalRAB deal, so Warner had to lighten the series up (literally with Neon) in the next film.

I think the movie is one of my favourites, and shows that good films don't always need happy endings.

Lord of the Rings Return of The King, when the hobbits return to Hobbiton and its just as when they left it in Fellowship in the movie, whereas it isnt quite the same in the book. Not saying anymore for those who havent read it.

yeh Titantic - the boat can crash, but when Rose gets to New York, she finRAB Jack made it after all and they live happily ever after

Woah ladies and gentlemen! I don't believe I've ever seen so many sour people in one place! Are you mistaking this for morbid endings?

I don't think alternate endings are a good idea for films. A film is a film, and the ending, no matter what it is, is what was supposed to happen. Knowing that something else could happen really destroys the total solidity of the plot.
