In the summer I love to camp outside if it's in my back yard or if its hundreds of miles away. I was just wondering how I could make camping more enjoyable and what camping brands are the best? Thanks in advanced!!!

You definitely need tents, cushions, and sleeping bags. I like Coleman's the best, but a good brand for cheap can be found at Walmart, and is called Ozark Trail. I bought one when we decided to go on a last minute trip and was separated from my gear, and it stayed dry, easy to put up, and very spacious. Still not better than my Coleman tent, but at least $50 cheaper.

That is the necessities besides food and water, but you may also want to bring along some fire logs to start your fire, a grill plate to put above the fire it for cooking (griddle plates ore good too for breakfast), fishing poles if you are near water.

But what you mainly need is SMORES!

Make a list of everything you will need for personal hygiene.soap, toilet paper, creams, toothbrush and paste, first aid kit, charcoal, starter fluid, dishes, dish washing liquid, wash cloths, towels. dish towels, pots and pans, vinyl table cloth, Stove,( Coleman) tanks, sleeping bags, tents blankets, pillow, clothing for all weather, coat, extra socks, lantern, extra wicks. The list can go on and on depending on your needs and comfort level.
Just keep adding to the list and check it off as you purchase the items and put them in a container. Always keep the list in the container and replace items that you have used up.

Well, the necessities are what you should worry about first. Brands aren't all that important to me, but coleman does have a good brand, I use the walmart "Ozark" brand because I don't want to have to worry if something gets messed up.

1- tent
2- sleeping bag
3 - extra clothes (more than you think you'll need)
4 - axe (depending on where you are camping, you could chop up some firewood. I don't recommend bringing wood with you)
5 - lantern of some sorts and flashlights
6 - matches and/or lighter (it's possible to do the two sticks or flint and steel, but these are much easier)
7 - dutch oven (you can make some awesome meals in these things!)
8 - a grate to put over your fire to grill on
9 - lots of food (s'mores!)
10 - if the your campsite doesn't have drinking water bring lots
11 - toiletries (TP)
12 - extra shoes and socks

then if you want to be more comfortable
-pillow
-sleeping pad
