What action could the defendant and her lawyer take if the plaintiff and his lawyer stop responding. The last time they(plaintiff and lawyer) responded were in December. They aren't responding because they were claiming different things such as abandonment that wasn't true and the defendant and her lawyer has proof. Now they don't want to respond. The defendant income was stopped because of the divorce. Could the defendant and her lawyer push this or some kind of action? Will the case be dismissed or will it be default since the plaintiff and his lawyer stopped responding? Its not fair that the defendant money is being put on hold and now the plaintiff and his lawyer don't want to respond and let it sit there because they don't have the case they(plaintiff and his lawyer) think they had.
