I almost had to vomit this morning, when for the 12th time I heard what "terrifying" video they were going to put on again : the one where there is an alleged house invasion.

So who, what are these media people, with their never closing mouths?
What do they REALLY want???

They aren't objective.

What they're broadcasting isn't news - it's opinion. Every major network with the exception of the BBC is guilty of this.

They then influence public opinion with their skewed reporting.
The public is not educated (by and large) nor media savvy so if they hear a lie repeated enough they assume it is true subconsciously.

The people in charge of the media are then able to push whatever hateful, bigoted, corporate, self-serving agenda they please.

What disgusts me the most is the way they mix entertainment with news so that after awhile it's just one big circus and nothing seems real. It's like your example of the house invasion. Is that news or entertainment? They want money. They just want viewers. They have no sense of obligation to provide information as a public service.
