my husband was on his way to work yesterday on his motorcycle when a 77 year old woman pulled out in front of him from a side street. she was cited and arrested at the scene.he was air-transported to a critical care hospital with multiple injuries: a fractured pelvis and shattered t-12 spinal vertebrae, a broken arm along with various other injuries.when i returned from the hospital and was looking on the internet to see the extent of his injuries, trying to make sense of what they told me when i found some acciendt/injury lawyer ads. i don't know what to do right now, the motorcycle was totaled and i've been told that he will be out of work at least until after christmas... he may be paralized from this!the trauma surgeon says that they don't know what the outcome of this will be or what procedures they will be doing next but he has had 2 surgeries in less than 24 hours and i have been told he is facing more. they haven't even dealt with the spinal issue yet!
