What A Load of Rubbish!Movies Coming Soon!

I think you are possibly being a bit picky. I'm quite choosy about the films I see (I don't watch rubbish and attempt to cover it up by saying "Just switch your mind off for two hours) and I still managed to find 30 films that I definately want to see.

You're probably right- but I found myself saddened by the fact that Toy Story 3 and Sherlock Holmes, were probably the most excited I could get. I couldn't believe the Wayans brothers had been making those movies since 1988! Also that Final Destination is making another comeback-but in 3D- seemed a little tiresome!

I found 34* films I will definitely watch at the cinema or get on DVD. In fact I think I might have to switch to a Cineworld unlimited card.

*(35 if you include JC's Avatar, I don't think it was on that list )

As much as this year isn't the best, it still has The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus to come, and a couple of others. In 2010 there is Iron Man 2 as well as Alice in Wounderland, 9 and so many more. I really cant wait!!!

Ok, may have been in a slightly negtaive mood when I posted this... still can't find more than 10
ok I'll concede to Alice in Wonderland. Iron Man 2.I love Robert Downey Jr- not for his acting so much, so maybe I'll give that a chance, but Iron Man was just above average... do you think this will be one of these sequels that betters the first- does that happen? I hope so!

Are you serious? Maybe half would be worth a watch.

They're catering to all genres dont forget.

10? I'm sure you'll find you'll like more than that when the time comes.

So, no. Not severely disappointed. Quietly optimistic.

'tis true! If you're happy I'm happy. :)
Maybe it's because nothing leapt out at me, I haven't seen a really, really, really, really good film for ages, but I guess if I decide they're all rubbish I won't! Maybe it's because we're saturated with so any movies I'd quite like to think there was something exclusive and special and exciting to look forward to that wasn't just churned out.

No UK or US release date, but a November release for Australia.

I could find at least 40 films in there. Sherlock Holmes had a very entertaining trailer.

Considering that a lot of them are kiRAB movies, a lot of them are teen movies, and a lot of them are genre movies, I don't think 10 is a particularly low number. And you never know, some of the films that look bad on paper might turn out to be really good.

Bear in mind that most people are idiots, so most films are made for idiots. It's the same with television, literature, music...

As an aside, "Genre: Wayans Rubbish" raised a smile. "Diablo Cody (of overrated Juno script fame)" wiped it away.

Cold Souls looks excellent! Try the film The Visioneers, it's out on DVD in America I believe. Same sort of direction.

Out of that list of 133 films, I want to see:

Aliens in the Attic
A Perfect Getaway
Inglourious BasterRAB
Broken Embraces
Final Destination 4
The Hurt Locker - suppose to be amazing
(500) Days of Summer - same
Funny People - Seen this already
District 9 - this is one to see!!
Gamer
Adventureland - Seen this already
Julia Julia
Whiteout
Pandorum
Away We Go
Surrogates
The Soloist
Carriers
The Fantastic Mr. Fox - looks amazing from the trailer
Shutter Island - book is excellent
Up!
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
The Cove
Jennifer's Body - from the writer of Juno!
An Education
Zombieland - the redband trailer is fantastic, one up high on my list to see
2012
Ninja Assassian
9
The Box
Where the Wild Things Are
Sherlock Holmes
Greenzone
Grace
Dead Snow - seen already
The Limits of Control
The Brothers Bloom
Paper Heart
Extract

BABYSITTER WANTED? that's on dvd here in Britain and it's absolutely rubbish, don't bother.

Killshot - seen already, and it was a big let down compared to the book.

25/8
Whatever Works
The Horsemen
Precious
The Road - book is good
The Lovely Bones
Alice in Wonderland
Iron Man II
Clash of the Titans
Salt
Daybreakers
Whip It

Lots!! lots and lots to choose from. Don't know how on earth you can only want to see just 4... you are VERY picky.

90% of everything is crap so that still leaves a baker's dozen of good ones.

And even the crap can be fun. I'm looking forward to Dead Snow: "A bunch of teenage skiers get a surprise when they stumble across a horde of Nazi zombies..."

Can't go far wrong with Nazi zombies!

While the OP was being a bit picky, some of the films you listed look terrible. What makes you think Gamer or Aliens in the Attic are going to be any good?

I don't think you're being picky enough :p
