Okay, so today I had my root canal. It wasn't bad at all. They numbed me up and gave me some giggle gas. I was so relaxed I wanted to fall asleep right there and I didnt' feel anything. Now that the novicane has worn off, I still have absolutely no pain. But maybe that'll come tomorrow. I don't know.

But then I went to my doctor's appt. for the ear nose and throat stuff. The main doc. didn't come in and see me right away. This other doctor named Rex and a student came in and did the primary stuff. The doctor comes in and says he doesn't think it's sinuses. He thinks I'm having migranes. Ok, but my ears aren't draining, I have pressure in my sinuses, I wake up with sore throats, My ears and teeth both hurt all the time. But that's not sinuses. So he orders a CAT scan and refers me to a neuralogist. (SP?) Plus, he was worried about my blood pressure because it was slightly elevated but it's normally well within the normal range. (I told him I had just had a root canal that morning and that I was really tired, but he didn't seem to care.) So he and his associate Rex left me with the student so that my blood pressure could be checked again in a few minutes. It was back to normal. SURPRISE!

So I go to make an appt. with the neurologist and they want to wait two weeks, but I'll be back in school 3 hours away, so I get in for next Tuesday. I also ask if I can see my regular physician because my Thyroid has been tested before, but it was high and nothing was done about it and I'd like to have it checked again because I've gained a lot of weight despite working out for an hour every other day and hardly eating anything. I've also been super tired and losing a lot of hair. (This has been an ongoing thing too.)

So then I go to have my CAT scan and they actually get me in for today, which is awsome because they were swamped. BUT the machine was outside and down the road in a trailer because they're re-doing the rooms with the MRI and CAT scan machines. Luckily it was a warm day.

So next tuesday I have to go back to the dentist to be fitted for a night guard at 2:30, I have to go see my regular doc. at 3:45, and I have to have my appt. with the neurologist (sp?) at 11. Plus, when I take the car, I drive my brothers in to school at 7:30 because I hate to make them ride the bus.

So.... I'm tired, I'm not happy, this is costing me a fortune, and I still have so much left to do before I go back to school. :bawling:

I don't really want sympathy, I just wanted to vent about my day.

Well, its great to hear that the worst part of your little dentist visit went well.

And good luck on the rest of your brain scan! :D
