He asked me to come kind of last minute and I have no idea what to wear. He just keeps saying it's formal. I don't know how formal...he'll be wearing his dress blues.
It's a big deal because the cadets were just informed who made it into summer field training (it was extremely competitive this year)..I think this may be celebratory?
I've never been to a formal event, especially with the USAF. I've never been to prom or a dance. I don't really know what a formal dress would be or the difference between a formal and a 'very formal' dress. And what about shoes? Open-toed heels? Would that be informal? Should I look seek out close-toed?
I have to get it this weekend so I don't have time to order something fancy. Please help, I'm desperate!
