what 80 and 90 franchise deserves a revival ?

I wouldn't mind seeing Darkwing Duck be picked up again (continuing were the show left off in season 3), or starting over again to be a tad more serious (like the movie pilot was) as I've heard the creator wanted it to be.

Even though I'm not a fan of the old TMNT toon, I do think that a station like Boomerang should air the repeats for the shows fans. As well as other 80s and 90s toons.

Bubblegum Girl, Thundercats is supposed to be remade as a CGI animated film for 2010. I have not seen any news since a few months ago, but the WB is going for a theatrical release...apparently.

To be honest, the only reason I want revivals of some of my favorite '90s shows is because with all the 80's cartoons revivals in recent years, it would be an injustice if no 90's cartoons got the same treatment, and I'd envy 80's cartoons fans. Hey, if Strawberry Shortcake got a revival, why can't Animaniacs and/or Darkwing Duck (maybe in DTV or theatrical short form as opposed to TV).

But creating new shows is risky, and IMO it is likely most of them will fail, especially if they aren't given a chance to build an audience - it's either an instant hit or it goes off-the-air nowadays. After all, why risk money on an unproven property when you can just do something with one people are already familiar with, such as the Ninja Turtles, very popular in the past, and still has a significant fanbase after nearly a quarter-century?

Pretty much anything I saw as a kid and thought was great but when watching it now I'm thinking "I liked this because...?" or "this is a bit meh."

Bravestar and Galaxy Rangers because we need more space westerns and these had good concepts.

I'd like to see more Bucky O'Hare but I'm happy with what we got and I think it's still as good as I remember it to be.

Pirates of Darkwater could be great now as Pirates have come back into style somewhat with PotC.

Gargoyles coming back would be epicly awesome! but only if Greg Weisman is at the helm. We've seen what happens to the show if he's not in charge.

I like to see all the 90 X-Men,Spider-Man,Iron Man,Fantastic Four, and The Incredibie Hulk all get revival like The Biker Mice Of Mars got.

I'd love to see Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers come back. Also um Darkwing Duck and Mickey Mouse cartoons, gosh I miss those wackey cartoons. They should also bring back House of Mouse only add the new cartoon shows to the background cast, like Kim Possible.

A new Gargoyles series or a Gargoyles spin-off even would be awesome, especially for an audience that is sad Avatar ended and are currently looking for some of the same caliber to watch.

The original idea behind Freakazoid with a manic superhero like the Creeper would be fun too. But I've always liked the Creeper.

A new Gatchaman/G-Force sans horrible dub editing would be fun, though I think they might already be continuing the series still in Japan. It would be great to see the original and have it revamped and stuff.

For the 1990s Spider-man would be the more interesting, to see how Peter Parker/Spidey will find Mary-Jane Watson, bringing a sort of real closure to this series.

Another 90s cartoon who could be interesting to revive is Mighty Max. It could be interesting if Max bring sometimes Bea in his adventures with Virgil and Norman.
