what´s the correct ebook sales numbers in the US?

Hi folks
I am working on a thesis about the Digital Book Industry in Brazil for my degree in business administration and I happened to found two different information regarding the ebook sales in the USA, as the links below:

and other information until 2008 sales:

they are both credited to AAP and both quite different.

Does any one knows which of them is the right one?
