I know I want a new saddle I have a synthetic saddle right now but I just got it because it was cheap and my other saddle didn't fit my horse. I'm ready now to look for a new saddle.. well a used one. So I guess first I should tell you that I have a 15.2 almost 15.3 quarter horse hes a big boy, not super high but high withers and wider shoulders.
My friend has a roping saddle not sure of the kind but its super comfy my other friend has a Billy cook barrel saddle and that saddle too is also super comfy. Is either of those saddles a waste of money if I'm not doing barrels or roping cows?
I read some where that barrel saddles are easier to fit on horses is that true?
I'm not looking to spend a ton of money.
