Western cartoons you would like a anime remake?

That's kind of where I am. I don't hate or even dislike anime, mind you, but I wouldn't call myself a fan of it either. I'm not watching my favorite cartoons and wondering, "Gee, I wonder what this would look like in Japanimation."
 
Animation isn't the same as production. Like how Simpsons is animated in Korea, or Tiny Toons was animated in Japan. Where the animation is done doesn't mean anything, just where the writing/production is.
 
I think the writing would be streamlined more. That and the less caricatured look (see Megazone 23 Pt II) seems to be out.

It's either that or a Captain Planet remake, which could be funny if they laid into sentai cliches and embraced some of their own. (Basically Planet would be Shinseman times 10)
