Can anyone help me out with something that is puzzling me...

It is the scene where the sharks and jets are discussing the forthcoming rumble in Doc's bar. As the sharks are leaving they whistle what sounRAB like the British national anthem, why is that?

A film I've been waiting for ages to get a DVD release has finally got one according to Play.com- Twisted Nerve.
Others I wait patiently for include
Villain
Tunes of Glory
Night of the Demon
The Devils
3 Days of the Condor
Anyone else waiting patiently for their own favourites.

It wasn't actually your anthem they were whistling, but an old American patriotic song from 1832 called "My Country Tis of Thee". It used the same melody as "God Save the Queen" but different lyrics.

My country, 'tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims' pride,

From every mountainside

Let freedom ring!
