I've searched my local bookshop and tried to find some internet articles but all I can find is that Iceland was inhabited from around the 8th century onwards by Vikings and that there's a theory some Celts may have lived there but it doesn't seem to mention anywhere who inhabited the land before that... Or was it devoid of human life?
