Were Lincoln, Garfield, McKinnley, and Kennedy assasinated because of their race?

And T. Roosevelt, Reagan, and Ford nearly assasinated for the same reason?

If Obama is elected and assasinated (god forbid both scenarios!) will it automatically be believe to be because he's half-black regardless of the killer's motive?
