I bought a Suzuki Rm 250 , Looks to be around a 2001. The vin on the frame has been tampered with , I'm hoping there is a alternate Vin. Iv talked to the local PD , They Cant help me get my money back unless i find the correct VIN # To prove it is stolen. I HATE THIEF'S !!!
It was ground down then covered with bondo. Then a fake tin tag riveted on the frame. Were on the crank case would the engine # be. I looked but cant find it. Also when i told the name of the person i bought it from the police seemed more eager to help.
