...ever if they didn't eat the? fruit from the tree of knowledge?

if yes,
1. how would they know how to reproduce?

2. why did god make earth then?

according to many religions, which believe in that particular fable, they would not have reproduced.

the mormons believe that god set the system up to fail, and - like jesus getting nailed up - it was all a divine set up. this means that satan (and judas) are just stooges, and that they actively helped gods plan.

all the christians in the house give a high 5 to Judas Iscariot!!!! Yo!

as i see it, there are three ways to look at it.

1) this is just another example of "which came first, the chicken or the egg" thing. it's a quandary we will never fully figure out.

2) as christians believe, god created humans with autonomy - that is, the ability to choose their own destinies. at the same time, he knew that they would sometimes make wrong choices. he also knew (because of his omniscience - his "all-knowing" mind) that they would choose to eat the fruit. knowing this, he prepared the rest of the world for them and their future offspring to live in.

or 3) the bible story of creation is just a bunch of bunk, nothing more than good creative writing.

what do YOU think? you will never, not ever, discover truth by adopting someone else's opinions. you will only discover it by questioning - which you are doing now - and then using your own mind and soul to ponder the topic WITHOUT PRIOR PREJUDICE regarding the outcome.

if you believe god created you, then you should trust that he will guide you to truth.

if you don't believe god created you, then your question is irrelevant to you, and you should move on to thinking about something more meaningful.
