...came from? I wish I could post a pic, It's small, med. size eye sockets,short snout area for nose, no teeth, pointed area up by ears, slight curve up on bottom of mouth, kind of meets snout or nose area. very cool.....

It's very difficult to identify something like that without a photo or a more detailed and scientific description. I suggest a Google search of photos of animals skulls to see if whatever you found looks like a particular animal.

Must be a Raccoon, Jackal , Fox, Deer

this is just my guess but it sounds like a cat skull
