well im trying to get an smartfone from sprint..?

i already have basic internet on my rant..they said if i get an smart fone with them ..ill have to pay more/upgrade for my internet ..im obligated to that..also if i get an blackberry ill have to pay 30$ extra a month for the internet ..can someone explain y n how i can get around this
