Welcome Back Golgo!

Yeah that is one of my fave episodes (my fave is when he has to whack a string on a violin).

At least the guy knew when to quit, lol.

Also, Golgo's a bit of a ****.

Nah, thats pretty much It.

But there is a lot of 'maths' behind the impossible and they go into detailed (but not too detailed) technical issues to show how Golgo pulls of the impossible.

Thats basically the substance of this series. Its mostly style. Which I personally love.

I highly recommend episode 7 (this series is very episodic so just grab it). I think you'll appreciate it.

I checked constantly then just stopped because subbers were being lazy bastarRAB, don't they understand???

AeonsLegend i bet if you could pull shots off like him you would act like that too

Ah, hmmm well I don't know. I might if I'm even more bored than I was when I was watching it. I think the thing that bothered me mostly was the fact that dispite of evertyhing that is going on it doesn't become exciting. Golgo just mechanically executes his mission and then screws some woman. Well in any preferable order.

I guess style is something to give credit to.

The only reason Golgo didn't use something akin to a Barrett is because at the time it hadn't been created.

Golgo 13 began its run in 1969, which is approximately a decade before the Barrett was even designed.

This is all assuming that the anime is following the manga's storyline, however.

And yes, the time frame was ridiculous but that's just part of the experience.

So finally got down to seeing episode 13, it was a good episode but through out it all i kept on thinking the reporter was going to end up being Golgo's target which didn't happen, in the end Golgo noticed the sun shinning of his camera lens and later made him pay the ultimate!

Episode 14 was awesome, one of my favorites if not my favorite, you could see the respect between both hitmen, Golgo clearly didn't want to kill him.

I say stick with It. Some episodes are quite inventive and involve Golgo talking rather than shooting his way out of trouble. Superb suspense. Others involve ingenius planning and predicting how his opponant will predict his moves. The ending is often predictable but how we get there isn't always as straight forward.

I found It boring too becuase of the lack of action. But the fact that the action is grounded in 'reality' (well as close as its gonna get in an anime) is what makes me keep watching in the end.

Plus, there's nothing else worth watching, action wise anyway.

Wow, it's like you're talking about a totally different anime. Ok I'll reset Golgo for the "to watch" list. But it's definitely at the bottom.

Anyone still watching this? I am.

Episode 17 i'm not quite sure why he killed the old man...he was retired and no one paid him to do it, he wasn't a threat to Golgo at all. The first time i've seen this happen in the series.

Haha, 8 was crazy. I mean, Its totally possible to draw your gun and kill 3 people behind you in 0.2 seconRAB.

And I could've bet my life he used armour piercing bullets at the end.

Top stuff. I'm gonna grab 9 as well.

I am about to start. I was a fan of the old original movies. I sorta held off till now. SounRAB like everyone sorta dug the show, which is a positive in my book

Yeah I stoped around 14 or 15 as well.

Corabination of taking too long for new eps coming out and the fact that Golgo isn't very likable. At all.

If someone whacks in the season finale I'll start watching again.

Be sure to pm me.

I am, from what I could tell the old man had been trying to lie to Golgo the whole time, at least thats what I got from that look they gave each other on the pier before Golgo kills him. In anycase Golgo must have felt at least somewhat threatened to kill him like that, or he just didnt like him.

But anyway, I love watching this show, very fun.
