Weirdest, most chilling, most ****ed up film you've seen?

Someone once lent me a video of 'Baise Moi' thinking I'd enjoy it.

It was one of the most depressing and disturbing films I'd ever seen - don't know what it says about me that my friend thought I'd like it :eek:

I'd also like to add my name to Erasurehead list.
 
Althought the movie itself is neither weird or ***ed up there is a scene in 'Mr Majestyk' that I always find chilling purely because of it's callousness.

It's a great film by the way.
 
it is, and thats the weird thing, the way it was shot was very artistic, the stuff you see on screen are horrific, you really dont want to watch it but you can help but sit there and watch


my copy of the last house on the left came today, its meant to be the uncut version but we shall see lol, thats another film that makes your toes curl abit
 
That Heavenly Creatures dvd you've linked too is a Dutch import, and is also likely to be the mpaa rated R version, which is 2 minutes shorter than the cut approved by the bbfc- disney cut some stuff thought to be 'too British' everywhere but Britain. They also cut a further 7 minutes from it to avoid getting a mpaa NC17 rating. I can't remember if the complete version was ever released anywhere, but if it was, it was likely New Zealand only.
 
Uncut Heavenly Creatures released R1 dvd in 2001. It's a bit flabby in the middle and I confess I prefer the shorter cut apart from the picture re-instatement of the scream at the very end, which is brilliant.
 
Horrible film. Made all the more horrible by the fact that far worse actually happened. I can safely say I'll never watch it again.

I watched a movie called Live! on Sky Movies yesterday and I found it very disturbing and uncomfortable to watch. It's a mockumentary about a tv game show version of Russian Roulette. Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie but it was sickening to me. It's on Sky Premiere until Friday.
 
I saw The Exorcist in a cinema in 1998- admittedly a midnight screening where no doubt a fair few of the audience were pissed- and people were openly laughing at it. Some of it is funny, methinks
 
So many people speak highly of Jude yet the praise is always given with a warning of it's depressing nature that I've put off seeing the film so far, even though it stars two of my favourite actors Christopher Eccleston and Kate Winslet. I do really want to see it, but I'm scared to.
 
I haven't seen it personally, but I was told about a film called "The Human Centipede" which I don't think I'll watch as it sounRAB utterly disgusting!
