Weird xv6700 issue

I have two xv6700's. One works flawlessly with the Badutahboy's guide (Thanks by the way!) and the other is having problems sending mms messages and getting on the Internet (and i remeraber you saying the issue is one in the same). i just hard reset the phone and did it again and i am still running into the same issues. everything was setup as it states. The only difference between the two phones is that the one that works has:
ROM version 1.05.00 WWE
radio version 1.05.00
pri 1.1_002


and the one that does not work has the
rom vesion 2.07.20 wwe
radio 1.10.00
pri 1.12_002

Any help would be awesomely appreciated and much karma! :clapping:
the phone that does not work can go to wap.cricket.motricity.com and load the page but no other pages will load. Also, I am on the 50 dollar plan

Edit: let me know if you would like more info or is it something that I should search more for. I think i have exhausted all sources

I had a problem with MMS on my phones too. This is what I did to correct it and it will wipe out any programs you already have installed:
Kirvin's No Junk 3.5 where my problem was.
I started from scratch by reinstalling the XV6700 default 2.2 Rom here (APA_VZW_20720_206_11000_WWE_Ship.exe).
Choose XV6700 from the left drop down menu.
Performed a hard reset. Did not let VZW install anything by hitting soft reset before any customizations installed.
Installed Kirvin's Stock 3.5 here
Performed a hard reset. Did not let VZW install anything by hitting soft reset before any customizations installed.
Followed badutahboy's tut and am able to MMS happily from now on.

Thanks for the advice. I was unable to connect to the Kirvins stock 3.5 it said no such file or directory? Thanks for the help, its been totally messin with me! :crying: I ran a search for it but I couldnt find a good one.

Looks like the directory structure changed on their ftp. just connect to the default folder ftp://ppcgeeks:[email protected] and then go to
/Apache/Users/Kirvin/.

Or you can try just this link which has been changed
ftp://ppcgeeks:[email protected]/Apache/Users/Kirvin/

yayaya, i got it to work, thanks to everybody! actually, i called cricket up a few times and finally got through to a tech support person. she updated my account and cleared something and now its working awesomely! :buddies: ty everybody!
