i moved to cyprus few years ago, my partiner is british, im working in a british company, i go out with british people, my best friends are brits, i hadent have the chance to get involve with cypriots or greek people, lots of them dont speak english so there is no way i can have a proper conversation! about 3 months ago i started to talk to a cypriot guy online in one of the cypriot networks! after a while we changed phone no`s! i really do like his personality alot he is such a lovely guy! then i asked him to send me his picture and i`ll send him mine, after that we started to have cam conversation and talking on the phone for long times! i mean hours and hours every day! he is so good looking! i think im not bad looking my self and im sure we liked each other, he was flying to london in the week end for 10 days, he asked me if he can meet me before he leaves! we live in different cities! i paniked out! yes we talk alot if not on the phone we chat online but i felt afraid to see him! meeting someone you knew from a social network sound bit creepy! he got upset since we do have a laugh together and we talk a lot and he just asked me to go out for a drink before he leaves just to see each other face to face not on a web cam! i couldnt find it in me to meet him to be honest not because im afraid from him., the real reason behind me refusing to meet him that im afraid i like him too much ! his voice his lovely face and his kind sweet talk! anyway i told him i cant be his friend!i dont know where that come from! i texted him today asking him if we still can be friends he text back am in my way to the airport ! booked last min booking two days ago to leave early to london! just after i refused to see him! and also said, take care bye!

i dont know whats gone wrong but all of sudden we no longer talk and i sort of miss him, he will be back in less than 2 weeks but i dont know how its gonna be like between us ! ah im 22 and he is 30, we both like each other looks and personality!! what do you think

He figured it out and is gone.

You dropped the "Friends" line.

What did you think. If you wanted more, that was disrespectful.

So if he comes back try this; be honest about how you feel.

Else do him a favor, move on.
 
I think your partner is in the british forces, he has been posted to cyprus, you move with him, he maybe goes away on ops/ courses a fair bit, you feel lonely, away from friends and family back home, you've found someone to keep you company and give you affection. Am I close? Age old story if that is thwe case.

Whether i'm right or wrong either way, you do have a partner, get a grip, decide what you want. If you can JUST be friends with this cypriot guy then crack on, nowt wrong with that, if it's more than that, do your partner a favour and break up with him. It's not fair on him. Xx
