Weird vision issue I had today...?

I had a weird vision issue today. All of a sudden, out of nowhere I had blurry areas in my vision - in both eyes. It was off to the right side/bottom and moved with my eyes. It's hard to describe. It seemed like a crescent moon shape (fairly large). When that area was over my computer screen, I could not see it clearly. It seemed to last 3 to 4 minutes, and towards the end it seemed like it moved up to the right/top area of both eyes and started to shimmer/flicker. After a few minutes it just faded away. This freaked me out real bad, anyone have any ideas as to what it might have been? I've never experienced anything like that before.

Also, I wasn't having a headache or any type of pain in my eyes while it was happening. I appreciate your help.
 
Need to see an eye doc - definitely. Call asap. Could be an ocular migraine (doesn't always have a headache attached) but you need to make sure it's nothing serious. Please call an opthamalogist!
