Weird Virus???

Anyone had anything like this? Exactly a year ago I started experiencing aching lymph glands under the jaw and armpits, as well as a slight aching feeling from my collar bone down to my chest. After several weeks it wouldn't subside. I thought the cuplrit might be an infected wisdom tooth on the right side which wasn't bothering me but had to come out nonetheless. My doctor agreed, so out it came along with the 'healthy' wisdom tooth above it. Subsequently, I had several other dental procedures, all on the right side. I waited as the aching glands didn't subside.

I then began to develop 'short' headache-type pains (lasting several seconds only) over the right side of the head, temple and forehead; and tender spots all over the head but predominantly on the right side, behind the ears (mostly right), in front of the ears, tingling and numbness on right side of face. I developed otitis externa three times within several weeks (only in right ear), terrible earaches which seemed to emanate from deep within both ears (again, much worse in the right ear), and fluttering in the right ear. In total my GP prescribed three different ear drop medications and I tried garlic oil. He thought the head pains and tingling in the face might be due to the extensive dental work on the right side, but overall he seemed perplexed. Finally, I developed an eye condition (extremely red and slightly weepy eyes for two weeks which didn't clear with with drops).

My GP decided I should see a haematologist, as my globulins had been slightly raised, and a head and neck surgeon. Unfortunately, I had to wait more than two months to see the haematologist. By that time the symptoms had subsided a great deal. He performed a plethora of tests (blood and urine)..... all clear. The head and neck surgeon checked and cleaned the ears but could find nothing. Had CT scan which was all clear. It was suggested I must have had a virus and that my head and facial symptoms could've been caused by nerve damage due to the 'ripping out' (literally) of my wisdom teeth. I had been taking vitamins to help with any nerve damage and eventually after a total of about four months the symptoms disappeared.

SURPRISINGLY, several weeks ago (exactly a year later), most symptoms reappeared: tender spots and aches on the right side of the head, forehead, temple, behind ears (predominantly right), in front of ear; very short, mild headaches (lasting only several seconds on right side); aching glands (very mild); right earache (not as intense as last year's); and red eyes. New symptoms which were not present last year: a slight dizziness (I would describe it as a 'spaced-out' feeling or just lightheaded which comes and goes all day; aching neck; pressure in the face around the sinuses which comes and goes.

Although these symptoms are not debilitating, they are bothersome, especially the dizziness. I'm beginning to believe that ALL the symptoms were caused by a virus which has returned and that they were possibly exacerbated by the dental work last year. I've had my blood pressure checked, and blood test to rule out cholesterol and diabetes in relation to the dizziness.

Has anyone had anything like this? I've not heard of anyone with similar symptoms.
