Weird very sore skin on left side of face!

I too am exeriencing facial pain. It feels as if I was recently punched on the eye/cheek, although there isn't any visible appearance. I happened to have left the window open through a cold night and awoke to a sore ear, throat and facial skin. The skin is only painful on the side with the sore ear, and throat. This isn't the first time I can recall experiencing this. I also feel feverish, and sweaty. As a side note I've also used CoalTar anti-dandruff shampoo in the last 6 months but switched to Selsun Blue because of the CoalTar's fragrance.

I assume I have a minor ear infection that will be gone tomorrow as usual.
